Still Lifes
I am generally not a still life painter. The Pepper and Parsnips painting was my first traditional still life, and it took me years to paint another one. The Nest was by far my favourite to paint: It's less a nest than a wonderful mish mash of interwoven yellows, purples and browns. Fun! The radishes were from my garden, so beautiful with the fresh green leaves. They inspired me to paint them, two years in a row!
